- Pan grill the ginger, garlic, white onions, star anise, and cinnamon sticks.
- In a pot, add the chicken stock, water and the grilled aromatics.
- Add the EasyPro® Soy Garlic Sauce, dark soy sauce, Xiao xing wine, salt and pepper. Bring it to a simmer.
- Add the whole chicken and simmer it for 20 to 25 mins.
- Cut the chicken and serve it with blanched bok choy and rice.
